Butterfly Prints Frame

Hi There. Thought I'd post something different today as it showcases other uses for our card and scrap booking materials giving us more value for money! I made this framework with a Wedding in mind but you can make this for any age and any occasion, and it makes a really pretty present.

Style Tips: ** Simply change the Beau Chateau Butterfly papers to Stampin' Up!s Twitterpated for a more whimsical look for a young girls room.
**  Change the paper to Stampin' Up!'s Comfort Cafe for a pretty hall stand show piece or place on the wall above a hall stand.
Well that's me for tonight - short and sweet. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Creating! Angeliki :)
Here's a list of the Stampin' Up! Products I used to Create this Framework:
Rubber Stamps - Butterfly Prints
Card Stock & Paper - Whisper White, Beau Chateau Paper Pack
Ink Pads - Chocolate Chip

Patterned Party Birthday Cards

Hi There. Welcome to today's post. I have three cards for you today all of which use the same stamped layout to achieve 3 different results.
These 3 cards are easy and quite quick to make and are really suitable for Male or Female old and young. I love the Grunge look of Card No. 3 and think it would suite male teens well, who are often hard to make for. I actually sold this card to a young lady around 18 years old who said it was perfect for her boyfriend who was a Car Mechanic. I think these would also be great for primary age kids whose friends are having birthday parties and, they're easy enough to make themselves - if you trust them with your products! But, as I said, I really think they're suitable for any age. If you come up with ideas of who you think they would be perfect for, just leave a comment with your suggestion. All suggestions are good and help the rest of us! Happy Creating! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the cards - Angeliki :)
Style Tips:
** I used the 'Marker-to-Stamp Technique' on all of the presents and balloons. Just click on the link at the bottom of this page which says 'Marker-to-Stamp Technique' for how to instructions.
** I used Glue Dots to adhere the Buttons.

Happy Birthday

Hi There. Sorry I didn't get to post this card yesterday as promised but I had visitors drop in unexpectantly to catch up for my Birthday, which was lovely!
My daughter is 25 and lives in Sydney and sent this gorgeous card for my Birthday. You can't see it in the photo, but it has delicate glitter details here and there which is so beautiful. I'm a Singing and Piano Teacher (as well as an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up!) so this is so apt! She has a great knack for choosing beautiful cards - and Birthday presents I might add - Lucky Me!
I thought I would also re-cap the Product Spotlight Cards for this month so you can view them all at once and see how each stamp was used to create all of the different effects.

That's me for today. Pop back tomorrow as I'm going to show you one card layout used 3 different ways! Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by, Angeliki :)

Product Spotlight - Hearts A Flutter Card Ideas

Hi There. Well here we are at the end of the series for Product Spotlight this month which products were Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set, Hearts A Flutter Framelits Dies and Tea For Two Designer Series Paper. I would just like to say that none of these products were tested on animals and I hope you've enjoyed this series and that you have been inspired to give some of these cards a go! Here's the last card!

I made this card with the intention that I would sell it as a Wedding or Engagement Card, however the lady who purchased it said it was a card for her best friend who'd just had a Baby and thought it was perfect for that! I'm so glad she said that because there's another use for these products that I hadn't thought of!!
** The flower is from the Artisan Kit which I cut the stem off and adhered with a Glue Dot.
** All the hearts, stamped & silver, are raised with Stampin' Dimensionals which make them really pop!
There's not much more to say about this card, except that's it's so quick and easy to make and still looks beautiful. I think anybody would be very pleased to receive it!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - You can purchase the Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set and Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies separately or purchase as a Bundle and get 15% Off!
Here's the Breakdown:
Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set - $35.95 (clear mount); $44.95 (wood mount)
Hearts A Flutter Framelits Dies - $42.95

Product Spotlight - Hearts A Flutter

Hi There. I'm a little late with my post today but I think I can be forgiven as I had to work and it's my Birthday! Happy Birthday to me!!!  Okay, on with show!!
Here's the second last installment in this months Product Spotlight series. Again, this card is made with the Product Spotlight products (that's a real tongue twister when you've typed it as many times as I have over the last few days -Or maybe I need more Birthday Champagne!!)
I made this card for a male but check out the STYLE TIPS below on ideas for prettying it up. And of course, you can put whatever sentiment you like across the ticket.
STYLE TIPS - Ways to Pretty it Up!
** Choose a different section from the papers and match the colours in it to the your ink pads for the stamped images.
** The Brad is from the Antique Brads collection, so choose a more feminine one like the Brass Filigree Flower from that same collection, or a Large Vintage Faceted Button threaded with Linen Thread or Bakers Twine would look nice too.
** Add Faux Stitching around the ticket using a marker in matching ink to one of the stamped images. (See yesterdays post on 'how to' for Faux Stitching)
** Instead of the Linen Thread, wrap a matching colour of Bakers Twine at the bottom of the ticket for a softer look.
** Add an 'In Colour Dahlias', or two!, to one or both of the tabs in the top corners.
Well, I must be off now. I hope you had an enjoyable Sunday and the start to your working week goes well.
Thanks for stopping by, Angeliki :)

More Product Spotlight

Hi There. I hope you've enjoyed the first two daily installments from my Product Spotlight products - Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set; Hearts A Flutter Framelits Dies and Tea For Two Designer Series Paper Pack.
On first glance these products look so feminine and pretty - which I love! - but they're not just for the Girls!  Here's a Masculine card I created using the same Product Spotlight Products.
Are you like me and love the stitching on other peoples cards but hate the thought of dragging out your sewing machine? Or don't have a sewing machine?  Well I have a Faux Stitching Technique for you which is fun and fast!
Card How To's:
* I scored the border with my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and added the blue paper in the middle.
* I made the FAUX STITCHING by paper piercing the banners and tabs with the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and drew lines in between each hole with a ruler as a straight guide and my white Signo Gel Pen.
* I added Silver Mini Brads to each banner and adhered them on top of the Early Espresso Bakers Twine which I glued down first with Tombow glue.
* I added the Buttons for extra visual effect and threaded them with Linen Twine to add more texture to the bottom of the card.
STYLE TIP: Looking at my card now, I think using my Early Espresso Marker on the banners to match the twine would have looked better, but still keeping the white gel pen on the tabs - but have a play around and see what colours you like best.

Well that's me for today. There are two installments left in this series so remember to pop back tomorrow for the next. Have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by, Angeliki :)

Product Spotlight - Shabby Chic Hearts A Flutter

Hi There. It's time for another card I've created with the products from yesterdays PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT - Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set, Hearts A Flutter Dies and Tea For Two Designer Series Paper.
On yesterdays card I used a strip of the Flower Trim and said that you can also cut just one flower off it and it won't unravel, well here it is. You can see it's all in one piece! I adhered it with double sided tape onto the lace strip, which I left the ends shabby to suit the style of the card.
I made a tag from the Tea For Two Designer Series Paper Pack from a section that says 'Tea Leaf" and mounted the Scallop Heart centre piece on top with Stampin' Dimensional. Notice the banners sticking out? They too were made from the Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set and cut out with the matching die.
That's it from me for today. If you have any questions or would like more informations please email me and I will get back to you asap.
If you like todays post please leave a comment.
Pop back tomorrow for the next card using the same Product Spotlight products.
Have a great Friday night! Thanks for stopping by,  Angeliki :)
 All the products are Stampin' Up! and are the same as yesterdays card but here's a short list;
Rubber Stamps - Hearts A Flutter, Curly Cute (sentiment)
Card Stock and Papers - Very Vanilla, Tea For Two Designer Series Paper
Inks - Primrose Petals and Calypso Coral (the banners)
Seam Binding Ribbon and Lace- Artisan Kit.
Single Flower - Flower Trim.
Dies - Hearts A Flutter Framelits Dies

Product Spotlight - Hearts A Flutter Bundle

Hi There. Today is PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT day! And taking the spotlight is 'Hearts A Flutter' Stamp Set, 'Hearts A Flutter' Framelits Dies & 'Tea For Two' Designer Series Papers.
These products look like they're just for the girls, but over the next few days I will show you Masculine and Feminine Cards that I've made using ALL 3 products!
One thing I really love is a stamp set that has coordinating Dies or Punches - No cutting makes it easier and quicker if you're time poor.
Here is the first card I created using the Product Spotlight Products.
Don't you just love the strip of flower trim! The flowers are already sewn onto a stripe of tulle and you can cut just one flower off or use as a continuous strip as I've done here. And, the great thing is, the flowers do not unravel when you cut just one off - so you get a perfect flower every time!!
The Button and 'Love' Ticket are from the Artisan Embellishments Kit. Ooohhh, something else that I just love love love!
Style Tip: I used my Full Heart Punch to punch the centre out of the Scalloped Heart on the left, and placed a smaller die cut heart on the right scalloped heart, for me it symbolises one person giving their heart to another and thus become one! Oh, soppy aren't I!!!  However!!, you could leave this whole and repeat the same look of the Scalloped Heart on the right ,or whatever creative fancy takes you!

Okay, so this is what the Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set and Dies look like: I've shown them smaller than they actually are, but for the exact size go to page 11 of the Seasonal Catalogue. The red outline around the stamp images just means they have matching dies, or punches, whichever the case may be.

I really hope you've enjoyed today's Product Spotlight and remember to pop back tomorrow for more cards I've made with these products.

If you have any questions or would like more information please just email me or leave a comment and I'll get back to you asap!
Have a great day and see you tomorrow!! Angeliki :)

Website where you can shop 24/7!!
Most of the products I've used are from the Seasonal Catalogue and I've named them in Bold throughout the text. However here's a list of products that I used from Stampin' Up!s Annual Catalogue:
Rubber Stamps - Curly Cute 'Thinking of You' Sentiment
Card Stock - Vanilla
Ink Pads - Primrose Petals, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso
Tools - Big Shot, Full and Small Heart Punches
