This months Product Spotlight item is the Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate. It's specifically made to slide right into the Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool, (which I featured in my very first Product Spotlight in March), and has rubber tabs on the back to hold the plate securely into place so you can score confidently knowing that the plate won't slide about. In total there are 21 Borders and Patterns on the plate to choose from and are suitable for card making and scrapbooking with 16 of them running the whole length of a 12" piece of card stock.
Here's a small piece of what the plate looks like.
1. Place the Borders Scoring Plate securely on your Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
2. Place your card stock on top on the Plate.
3. Place the Overlay over your card stock.
4. Using the Scoring Stylus, draw the Stylus along the grooves in the Overlay of the pattern you wish to use, and Voila!, you have self made borders and patterns.
It's easy to use and has a lot of scope for creativity.
Here's a small card I made incorporating the Borders Scoring Plate.
The scoring adds texture to your projects and gave this card a sense of balance and a nice finish.
