Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate

Hi There. Well, Product Spotlight is under way and here's another card I've made using the Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate. I love how easy it is to create instant borders and framing. Without the borders this card would be a little drab and bare but the borders really bring it to life. The smaller border around the butterflies frames this separate piece of card stock beautifully and then the larger waves on the base card ties it altogether.
I used the small ball end of the Stylus to score the borders.

Style Tips Tried and Tested for You
1. Before scoring, remove the plastic film from both sides of the Overlay - It works much easier with the film removed.
2. Use sticky notes to hold card stock down so it won't move. This way, you can place your card stock anywhere on the scoring plate.
3. Run the Stylus through you hair before scoring. Yes, Really!! This helps the Stylus to glide around the embossing tracks with ease. Without it, the Stylus is quite rigid during scoring.
4. Score on the Wrong side of your card stock to get the Embossing on the front of your card stock; Or, score on the Right side of card stock for the De Embossed look. I scored on the wrong side of my card stock to get the Embossing.on the front of my card stock.
Here's a List of the Stampin' Up! Products I used to Create this Card.
Rubber Stamps - Papillon Potpourri, Curly Cute
Card Stock - Whisper White
Ink Pads - Primrose Petal, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, Early Espresso
Accessories - Basic Jewells Rhinestones
Tools - Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate, Elegant Butterfly Punch
Adhesives - Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by. Happy Creating, Angeliki :)
